Still doing a great job with the old favorites and adding some interesting new dishes, like their panzanella with a twist. Service was excellent, inconspicuous plexiglass dividers made us feel safe. Tower Oaks is a favorite that never disappoints!
Our server, Cliff above excellent, wonderful dining experience
Too much noise and only one waitress for too many tables

You can never go wrong with Clydes... whether it's simple soup/salad, sandwiches or meal entree... it is always great!
Tower Oaks is a go-to favorite! the food and service are always dependable and delicious.
We always enjoy Tower Oaks because the spacing of tables is appreciated and keeps noise down and because the food is consistently good. Miss the crab cakes, but understand the problems. Service is good but I mourn forgetting to take my salmon salad which I had boxed. My husband ran back to out table before we had left the parking lot but it was gone from the table and he was told it had been thrown out out. I had eaten less than half and it was delicious. Ah well. Perhaps 81st birthdays should be celebrated at home.
Totally great experience.
Excellent food...outstanding service...enjoyable experience.
The food was good; all four diners enjoyed their meals. One diner ordered a Bloody Mary ($10) that tasted like water mixed w/a shot of tomato juice. The service was average. It's pricy for Sun. brunch - $195 inc. 20% tip with one alcoholic beverage, 2 appetizers, 4 entrees, & 3 desserts - but probably on par price-wise w/similar places in Montgomery County, MD. They could definitely step up their game.
Excellent experience for celebrating a friend's birthday this past Sunday! Server was very attentive and food was delicious!
Been there before and was not disappointed. Staff is amazing and food is incredible. Best mussels I ever had.
We enjoyed a wonderful anniversary dinner at Clyde's. We love this restaurant because it offers all the thinks we like. It's quiet, the service by the staff is impeccable and the food is delicious. The sea bass entree and cod entrees are so good and we highly recommend the peach galette for dessert. I would recommend that you make reservations for weekend dining. Also, their brunch is wonderful.
Tower Oaks Lodge is so consistently excellent that is hard to believe that any restaurant can ALWAYS serve food this outstanding at reasonable prices while offering the diner such an interesting and impressive ambiance.
The ambiance is one of the best in the entire area and the food and service are dependable good. You can't lose eating there. Friends, family, clients, and colleagues will all be impressed and pleased with their experience there.
They were very accommodating as our party got disjointed and did not arrive together. But the staff reacted very well and handled the seating, ordering and serving smoothly.
Everyone spoke highly of their dinners. Both the quality and the portions. I had the best pork chop I've had in years, cooked as I requested! And covered with what started out as a Bernaise sauce that benefited from a little extra touch by the chef. My only complaint was that the chop was so big, and I was not going to leave any of it, that I had no room for desert.
Menu was disappointing. Expected to order my favorite crab cakes which were no longer available. There was a very pricey choices of steak and chicken in multiple iterations. Just wasn’t the same.
Wonderful service- 3 kids with us and our server was kind and helpful- funny too! A bit disappointed with the menu- did not seem like the same Clyde’s we are used to.
Had a great time and I'll return!
Love the new menu. Only problem was how very cold the restaurant was last night.
Great location and ambiance -similar to willow oaks. Been here several times but not sure if this is a covid issue but service and amenities were terrible. Our waiter forgot one of the two appetizers we ordered, then forgot the dessert. We specifically asked for decaf coffee but sure it wasn’t. Up ALL NIGHT. The worst thing was there was no soap or sanitizer available in the bathroom. We called it to the attention of the desk but an hour later still no soap. What are the wait staff washing their hands with???? So disappointed because really love the atmosphere but unless they get their act together, won’t be going back.
Other than a glass that had a lipstick stain, which we sent back and got a new glass, and a coffee cup that seemed to be not completely clean, the food and service were great.
The hostess at Clyde’s Tower Oaks has a huge attitude problem and it wasn’t just towards me but towards other patrons as well who had to deal with her. Upon arriving, I walked up to the stand to check in and she inquired if all of my party was with me? Glancing around, I didn’t see the other attendees within vicinity and the hostess dismissively informed me that, “we will be seated upon all attendees arriving” and turned her attention to a colleague.
I just drove one hour to get to this location and our brunch bill was over two hundred dollars and that was the type of treatment you receive upon check in? Our waiter was great, we did have to send one item back because the pancakes were burnt…the entire stack…not sure how that happened but the replacement ones were fine. I have dined with this restaurant chain for years at Tower Oaks and in Reston. I understand the menu is limited still due to COVID, I always tip over 20% to the waitstaff but it just puts a slight damper on my birthday brunch when you are initially greeted with rudeness.
Good value, great venue, good food. One of our favorite places.
Always reliable, nice menu, good value, pleasant surroundings & staff is friendly & flexible
We had a table near the bar. A bit too noisy. Food was very good. Service was very attentive.
The host/hostess were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful as new a guest at your establishment the expectation was a welcoming experience. As they are the first contact of your establishment it is very off putting and if I didn’t have others in my party driving a long distance we would have gone somewhere else. I made my reservation over a week before we came and I called during the week to add comments to the reservation…to arrive and be very disappointed. It was a pity. The rest of the experience was fantastic! The food, beverages and waiter all amazing. And if I could bypass the host/hostess I would come back again and share about my experience.
Lovely comfortable atmosphere . Not too loud. Waiter very helpful, friendly. Food tasty, nice selection.
Service took forever and not all the tables were full. Clyde’s is becoming a high class cafeteria that is super loud now.
The Great Room is the room I like best. The food was delicious and the service was superb.
Cliff was excellent! He made sure my party 0f 7 was well taken care of for my birthday celebtation.
It was perfect. I took out my favorite teacher to lunch and my request for an easy walk was accommodated, the food was perfect, the noise was low, service was patient and lovely.
We arrived early but were seated right away. The food was excellent and service was very good except we had to request refill of water glasses 3 times before our wait person remembered. But that was minor - we had a great brunch and my sisters loved the restaurant.
We love Tower Oaks Lodge, but we had a new waitress who clearly hadn't had enough training. The setting is so lovely and the service is usually very good. But this was a disappointing evening with lackluster service.
The food never disappoints at Tower Oaks. A little sad the crab cakes aren’t on the menu (due to price/sustainability) but the Salmon was on point.
We discovered that self-park is now the only parking with mixed feelings. Once we entered, we were immediately seated in the noisy room. Our server approached and allowed us a few minutes to decide on our order in a friendly way. Once ordered, delivery was timely and the items: fried calamari, wine, salmon salad, sea bass and blueberry buckle were all excellent.
Dinner with Dad to celebrate my retirement and his birthday!
Kadajia was amazing!! She made our evening. Service was great and ambiance very very nice. Will come again.
Conscientious waitress; food good (though some old favorites were no longer there); group beside us was loud and sound really carries there so we had trouble hearing one another.
Excellent service by Lydell who was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional! Front desk team was attentive and kept us informed on our table status for 8 people. We will come again!
