greek yogurt marinated free range chicken breast with cherry tomatoes, onions and bell pepper
What a gem!!! My friend and I were looking for a Mediterranean place and saw this online and decided to check it out for dinner. We ordered the Brussel sprouts to start and each got a dish of falafels. The pita that came with it was SO fresh and delicious- I think it’s one of the best pita I’ve had in my life.
I would highly recommend dining here. Staff is friendly and the outdoor seating was great.
Amazing food and lovely service. The vegetable moussaka is a must-try.
My wife really enjoyed the lentil soup and roasted cauliflower she ordered.
I ordered the manti, which was delicious, but unevenly and not thoughly heated. Portions of the serving were below room temperature while others were at least room temperature warm.
Modest but excellent menu. Service and responses to requests were very good.
Decor is somewhat minimalist; however, it works to create a comfortable and pleasurable place to dine.
Food was well-prepared, tasty and presented in attractive manner
We would recommend Troya to others without hesitation.
Troya is a neighborhood gem. Casual dining, always fresh flavorful foods. We had Philip as our server and he's delightful and so helpful. Love this place!
Terrific, low-key atmosphere. My friend and I both got the salmon kebabs and they were so delicious, so perfect, beautifully presented on cuts of wood. The Brussels sprouts and cauliflower were great, too. Staff was super nice. I get tired of all the shi-shi places in SF and Troya really hit the spot.
We love Troya. Very good Turkish food in pleasant setting. We will be back!!!
WoW! Troya surpasses “Excellent” and creates an entirely new category for FANTASTIC! The vegetarian dinner for two was superb in every way. The lamb with hummus was divine. The skewers are tender and flavorful. This was our best meal out in years. The price is right. The service is attentive and helpful. The food is highest quality and flavor. The atmosphere is cozy and contemporary. The owners are OFF THE CHARTS - Kind, talented, hard working, diligent, lovely… We love Troya!!
Troya is the best! The food is absolutely delicious. We would recommend the combo of dips, brussels sprouts, cauliflower and Turkish manti. The restaurant has wonderful indoor and outdoor dining options, and the staff is always so kind and welcoming. It's one of the best restaurants in San Francisco!
Food , service, fast and very good. Friendly people and tasty, and well presented plates. My only small criticism would be that the restaurant felt a bit cold inside?
Could be that it wasn't super busy at the time we went, but just could use some warm wood additions, just didnt have that warm buzz. But other wise, a very good experience.
I would def go back
Awesome neighborhood restaurant! The combo dip plate is exceptional, wines are great and reasonably priced, and the service is fantastic.
Love the mezes. Super delicious. Would definitely go back.
amazing service, great selection of food & wine!
Food was amazing, had a great evening!
The food was delicious as always, and the waiter was super attentive and remembered us. Can’t wait to go back soon!
Terrible experience. We had a reservation and waited 10 minutes and no one came over to greet us or acknowledge we were there. We got up and left. I would not recommend.
Best restaurant ! Service is also great!! Food was great as expected
Troya has delicious food and is a great place to share so you can try more. Went this time with three other friends and we had a lot of yummy dishes. Favorites were the Mediterranean Halloumi salad, cheese borek, roasted cauliflower and the braised lamb shoulder with rice. Decent wine selection too.
This was my first visit to Troya on Fillmore. Have not been dining out too much. They have protected outdoor seating via 2 parklets - which was nice to avoid the wind. Our meal was very tasty - so we would go back again. They also have a very active pick-up business as well so know the neighborhood uses them frequently.
Glad we tried them out.
Great food, wonderful service. Would go back to try other dishes anytime.
bad food decent service....that's the full story. lamb skewers were incinerated into horrible toughness. kale salad was just a terrible idea filled with tough leaves.
Troya has been a godsend during the pandemic with their safe outdoor dining experience, INCREDIBLE food, and super friendly staff. They have delicious options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. You will not leave here disappointed!
Their baby lamb chops are divine! The service was on the ball. They were attentive and friendly. Felt more like I was hanging out in a friends dining room than a restaurant.
The most wonderful staff
All food was good. The hummus portions were really small though for the price charged
The vegan feast absolutely delicious and MASSIVE
Our server was fantastic and the food was delicious
The food was good. The service was lacking I’m not sure if I would return.
Thank you for being so accommodating!
The food is incredible. So tasty with a touch of refinement. Great value too.
It was a delightful experience all around and a pleasure to dine indoors, feeling safe and satisfied.
Friendly, neighborhood restaurant with something for everyone. We love the trio of dips, crispy Brussel sprouts and variety of kebabs.
Great neighborhood gem, loved it and will be back!
Made a last minute reservation and they were super accommodating. The food was incredible, came out quickly, and everyone was very friendly!
Wonderful !great food and wine
Yummy flavorful food, a selection of things that I can eat since I don't eat animal products, very friendly service, casual atmosphere.
I used to really like this restaurant but the last several times it's really failed. Second to last time, in our party of five, three of us had finished eating before the dishes for the last two even arrived. And the wait staff seemed annoyed that we kept asking for it. Last time, the food was just bad. The falafel dish I always order was so dry that crunching the falafel's actually hurt and I left them - no one asked if there was a problem. The pita came out cold and the dishes have become really skimpy. That said, on a Saturday night the place was full but who knows how many were like me - disappointed and unlikely to return.
Too bad for a few of the wait staff who were clearly trying...
Nice casual place to eat with good food and wine
We had an amazing dinner here
