Our service was excellent which is not always the case at Wildfire. Our server looked like Jan from WKRP. Ha! The ribs were a little tough but very tasty. Everything else was delicious. Nice low key early Valentine's dinner.

Unusual for two food items to
be off, but they took both off
our bill unexpectedly.
After a long wait they offered
us a complimentary appetizer,
also unexpected.

Wonderful food, and the bar was the best booth for noise and people watching! Our waitress was fabulous too!

Love Wildfire Glenview. The food is delicious - best chocolate cake I have ever had!
The atmosphere is perfect for whatever occasion = festive, romantic, casual, business. A superb restaurant.

Food is always wonderful. We had a great server for our pre-Valentines day dinner. My only complaint is that it is always noisy. My husband is disabled and they were very accommodating and helpful, but it's hard to carry on a conversation sometimes.

The food and atmosphere are great. Unfortunately, our server was terrible, not nice, rarely came back to check on us, forgot our bread, I had to ask another server for coffee, generally seemed annoyed to have to serve us. It was a birthday celebration so that was a bummer.

Food was delicious as always. Service is always consistently good for the most part unless they are very busy... It's a lettuce entertain you restaurant, you can't go wrong...

I love going to Wildfire because I can always count on the food that I have ordered and loved to still be on the menu. I start with an Educated guess wine bottle, then have the avocado tuna appetizer, then the Mahi dinner or almond crusted cod when in season, the overcooked broccoli-the way I like it and of course mushroom caps. If we are really hungry we will also do a chopped salad. I love desserts, but they don't like my waistline, so I try my best to stay away. When I do order, its usually Key Lime Pie or something chocolaty .

Always a comfortable environment. The friendly greeting at the desk, a very solicitous waiter and the birthday dessert for my friend made it a memorable experience. A go-to for a celebration on a cold winter's day!

Overall, our dining experience was underwhelming. It was my wife’s birthday and I made reservations. We got there on time and had to wait at least 20 min before getting seated (not sure why I even bothered). We were seated in a high traffic area and it was super noisy. The service was slow on almost every moment of the meal (it was busy—but when the waitress is gone from the floor for over 5 min—seems odd—I used to be a waiter in my college days). The food was good but my wife mentioned how the plates looked “cafeteria style”...lump of potatoes by itself on a plate and a lonely slab of meat plopped on another scratched-up white plate. The question is—“Are you getting what you pay for?”

The food as usual was very good. It was a very busy night so the noise level was higher than usual. Our waiter was just okay. Asked for water refills—never received. Asked for separate checks for each couple and was told he’d take our order and handle that later He then gave us one check. Not up to your standards.

Steaks were terrible. I ordered the strip steak medium and my wife ordered the petite filet medium. Both tasted terrible. No flavor, extremely tough. The best part about the whole dinner was the appetizer. Sad.

Everything was great! The waitress was funny and sweet, very knowledgeable of the menu and great food recommendations. The food was terrific we had the goat cheese appetizer then the filet trio and a ribeye yum!

Good meal as usual But, took 30 minutes to seat us even though we showed up 5 min before our reservation time, to which they gave us a free appetizer. Only having plain steamed broccoli as a side for steaks instead of asparagus needs to improve in the future.

Been a frequent guest at this Wildfire since it opened a dozen years ago. Once a favorite it is seriously slipping in terms of food and service. This visit was such a disappointment. Ordered the skirt steak after discussing it with the server. She suggested it be cooked medium. It arrived very rare and I could barely cut it since it was so tough. Sent it back and it come back with little difference.. It was terrible... tough and tasteless. This followed another visit where my meal, (crusted Cod special) was very mediocre with a watery sauce that added no flavor. Sorry to say Glenview Wildfire has lost its touch; victim of its own success as the kitchen is no longer serving top notch meals.

I have always had consistently great service and food/drinks over the years. Its probably been two years since I was at Wildfire. Instead of immediately suggesting we talk about your loyalty program, it would have been better to have been warmly greeted, asked if we'd like to start with a drink or appetizer. I felt it cheapened the experience. I ordered my prime rib medium rare and it came rare. I didn't bother to mention it because it was a special event dinner and I didn't want to interupt the flow of the meal and conversation.

We always love Wildfire - but it is always disturbing how loud it is. We even got there at 5:30 and it was still quite loud. My husband is hard of hearing and there really is no place to sit that is quiet. Other than that, everything is always perfect!

Mark rendered outstanding service. Jill(manager) remembered us from our many previous visits and was very welcoming for this special memorial occasion. The staff always makes their patrons feel important. . I found the crusted cod flavorful and delicious; my wife's steak was perfection. The apple pie was perfect

There’s a reason we don’t eat here much any more service was terrible. Tables pushed so close I got hit every time a waiter or busboy went by. Waitress brought the food and then disappeared until she brought the check. No drink/water refill.

Food was just ok. Not worth it for a long while before a return visit

Our dinner at wildfire was a pleasure. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so pleasant and accommodating. Our food arrived promptly, correctly and warm. The only drawback was being too full to have dessert. :)

My husband and I took his mom for her 81st birthday. She absolutely loved everything, food, wine, atmosphere. (She ordered the cod special.) Our server brought her a complimentary chocolate dessert before we could tell her that our mom can't eat chocolate. So then she brought cheesecake with berries, and both desserts were complimentary! We really appreciated it, and it looks like this is our new place for special occasions.

Stuck in one of the small dinging rooms with several tables of toddlers...get seated in the main dining room. Management should just reserve a room for families and spare the rest of us. Food and service was great.
