My 65th birthday. Our server seemed very rushed he seemed agitated. I have been to this restaurant so many times and have enjoyed every evening and have bragged about the service. He accidentally brought two glasses of wine instead of one and a coke for my husband. He knew it was my birthday and did not go out of his way one bit to even bring by a cookie. I think when you have people that come in all the time bring guests and annually spend thousands of dollars in gift cards should take care of those people. He also charge me for the extra glass of wine which was fine I had no problem with that but he just was not very nice. I had lunch the other day at another place that I go to a lot and I would like to show you a picture of what they brought to the table I bring a lot of guests to the capital Grille downtown Chicago

Was there on a Friday night.
Fish special of the day had already run out by 7pm.
Otherwise , consistently good menu.

The steaks are served in a strong au jus type broth which ruined the natural flavor of the meat. Calamari was small and greasy. The mushroom taste too strongly of beef broth.

We dine here all the time. It’s just gone way downhill.

Service is consistently sub par ( things like appetizer dishes not cleared when main comes, water not filled, no one checks in-) and food is only ok.

Facility also could use a good cleaning.

The Wednesday meat loaf special reminded me of Alpo Helper{ I never ate it} or Hamburger Helper.
The appetizer size of Coconut Shrimp was for just 3 shrimp and a total "rip off".
The medium rare requested Filet was almost well done.
The wine pours were short.

Wildfire always used to be five stars in every category. Lately I, and others that I've talked to, find the quality of the food slipping. The phrase, "It's not as good as it used to be" comes up quite often. Don't know what's different, but it is not on my "first-to-go-to" list.

Always a terrific meal. I took an out of town family member out to lunch here and I love that everything was fantastic service food.

Definitely try the bacon wrapped scallops with apricot sauce!

Our meal was very good and the service was outstanding. We sat in a booth which helped with the noise level. One of the group is from California and he was very impressed with his meal.

Miss the previous version onion bread and dark bread. The new bread is very airy, salty and does not have a homemade feeling if fresh flavor to it. Consider offering new or additional menu options ~ fish, vegetarian.

The Wildfire chopped salad wasn't as good as it usually is. It was dull. Also, the service was lacking which added to our disappointment. This is unusual-this is one of my favorite restaurants but perhaps I need a break.

Once again, Wildfire does it perfectly! We went with our families for a friend's birthday and the food and experience was outstanding. From filets, strip steaks & skirt steak to Macadamia Nut Crusted Halibut, everything was done perfectly. The desserts were delicious. Jessica our server and Jill the Mgr were so kind and attentive. Thanks Wildfire for another memorable celebration dinner!

Another wonderful evening at Wildfire. Jill makes everything happen. Jess was our server and she’s always wonderful. We had a wonderful Pinot Noir by MacPhail. Delicious. We started with the wedge salad followed by the tender, flaky Halibut with asparagus and a wonderful Butternut Squash side. Then the Pumpkin Pie. Outstanding dining experience. Thank you

I have Celiac and have eaten at Wildfire Oakbrook many times. I love the food and always know I’m safe to eat it.
So when my sister and her family were in town that I haven’t seen in years, I immediately booked at Wildfire Glenview which was closest to where they were staying. However it was not the same at Oakbrook. We waited over 45 minutes for our food and then our order wasn’t even complete.
Worst past was 4-5 hours after I ate I was SO sick. Haven’t been that sick in years since having been diagnosed. I think my salad wasn’t prepared gluten free but not entirely certain. Two days later my stomach still in a mess and I’m drained.
I will eat at Oakbrook again, but sadly not Glenview.

Celebrating my birthday at Wildfire with friends tonight and it was wonderful. Jill made arrangements for our booth which was set up and ready when we arrived. We started with the Scallops wrapped in bacon, shrimp cocktail and Split pea soup. Delicious. Next was the Halibut with asparagus, Barbecue Chicken and Ribs with baked potatoes. Excellent. Finally the Pumpkin Pie. Coffee and conversation ended a perfect evening. Outstanding service by Alexis.
