Our server Jennifer (555) was sub par - inattentive and forgetful. Had to request bread basket, ginger ale twice for our grandson, was not offered ground pepper for our salad or request for additional drinks - standard Wildfire services. She was more interested in talking to other wait staff than working the table. Very disappointed in service.
Good food and excellent service
Love this Wildfire restaurant in Glenview. Happened to have a great server that night, made a request for a table in the bar and we were seated there. Very enjoyable food was great!!
Love the booth seating. Romantic and good for conversation.
Have been better
Wildfire is always our go-to when planning a family gathering. The food is great and varied, so everyone can find something they like. Great fish, steaks and salads! Desserts are great, too!!
Excellent service and food. The Prime Rib was delicious, as were the red skin potatoes. Our friends liked the turkey and the salad. The waiter was very attentive.
Wildfire always exceeds our expectations. The food and service are outstanding.
Have dined here many times but this time the food wasn't as good as usual. My steak was undercooked. I think everyone said their food was not hot when served. Didn't see the waiter much but when we did see him, he was very pleasant. I would give an average rating this time around.
I ordered the prime rib French dip which I have had in the past for five times before and it is absolutely delicious. It is usually almost an inch thick filled with meat however this time some parts had no meat and it looks like it was the very end of the piece of meat because there was a lot of fat and gristle I had to send it back and it’s still only tasted mediocre. The older waitress never came by wants to ask us how her meal was and did not read us the specialties either.
I always enjoy eating at Wildfire except for one thing; it is way, way too noisy. We are trying to have a conversation at the table but cannot hear each other. There is not enough material items like drapes, in the decor to absorb the noises.
Unfortunately I must say our meals were less than stellar. The noise level has gotten worse and the waiters were rushed . My husband had a salad and before he was finished they were bringing the entree. He told them to take it back until he was done with his salad. My 3 mini fillets were supposed to be medium and 2 were overcooked and the meat was tasteless . The sauteed mushrooms were still very tasty as well as the side of vegetables. I think management should hire more waiters and allow for more relaxed dining experience.
I would not recommend this restaurant there are other places much more conducive to fine dining.
The food at Wildfire is always fantastic. We must have had a new waiter, things were just off beat. He just seemed to be MIA than serving.
Reunion dinner with friends from Texas
Jordan was an excellent waiter, knowledgeable, personable and attentive. Food delicious as always. Perfect in every way.
Great service for our birthday celebration. Really busy restaurant but had super service
I feel that the wildfire at the Glen is one of the best in service the staff is friendly and extremely helpful.
the food at Wildfire is constant and very fresh every time my wife and I come and eat.
Always good food and service. We love dining here.
We love Wildfire, but this time we were seated in a side room that seemed really “ blah” and where the temp was actually chilly.
In addition, my shrimp and crab bisque was tepid.
We will return, but will not accept being seated in that side room again. We were especially disappointed in our seating as we did have a reservation and were on time.
We're regulars, they always try to give us our favorite table, Jill is great!!
Excellent waiter who didn't rush us to order and let us have reunion with family member.
Too noisy. Food was mediocre. Service was good though.
Wildfire is dependably exceptional. The best in every category every visit, every time. You know what you are going to get—in the most excellent way.
Returned after a long absence. It was really good. I had the burger of the day. It was excellent
Our server Cathy was very helpful and accommodating
The food is nice quality. They cook their steaks perfectly. Salads are great for sharing. We went there for a birthday celebration and were not disappointed. By signing up for their mailing list prior to our visit, I was able to print a $10 coupon to use for our dinner. We will definitely return in the future.
Wildfire never disappoints!
Another excellent dining experience at Wildfire(Glenview)! This is our go to place for family dining and dining out with friends. Wildfire is consistently great!
All was fine, lunch menu is a bit boring. Would go more if there were more gluten free meal options.
The food and the service were outstanding. The portion sizes quite large and tasted fantastic. We enjoyed the appetizers and the choice of side vegetables. Our waiter's timing and level of attentiveness was absolutely perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
I want to thank Jill for getting us our booth. We love Wildfire. The Halibut and Coconut Shrimp were crazy delicious. The Sauvignon Blanc was excellent. Great service made it outstanding.
We were a lunch group of five women (one on oxygen and another with a walker) who requested individual checks. Our server, Kathy N, was so marvelous, patient, helpful and attentive without being hovering, we all appreciated her expertise and kindness.
We always enjoy our meals there. However, they are pricing themselves out of going there frequently. It shows by the number of empty tables. $24.95 for a large chopped salad - vegetables and diced chicken? Really!!!!
This was my first time going to a Wildfire in over a decade. I had never been to the one in Glenview before. It was.. OK. The food was good, not spectacular, but good. It was very loud. Very busy. The floor manager was kind of abrupt with people. He was very busy, but you are running a restaurant, you need to be personable. Our waiter was very good. Attentive. Steak was good as were sides. Desert was bad. Apple Strudel / Pie that was dry and hard. While I might go again for brunch or a quick casual dinner, this particular Wildfire is not a place I would recommend for real special occasions
The service was just fair. The waitress asked if I’d like more Diet Coke. I said yes and she never brought it. I had to ask someone else for it after 10 minutes. The mashed potatos were called. Once again no waitress so we had to ask someone else to heat them. We requested cheese cake and our waitress never brought it. However the manager did bring it. I understand they were busy but that is no excuse. I really will have to think about going back
I was disappointed with the most recent visit! There were 5 people at our party, literally everyone’s meal was done incorrectly (to say at least); burnt kid’s burger, not done & bloody tenderloin tips (ordered medium well done), 1 set of burnt bbq ribs and undercooked set number 2... it took 17 min to get bread... Weiyer, Alex did his best to save to day, but clearly it was kitchen fault. The place was packed, what is expected on Sunday night, but it was just not the best visit, however not only for us. We’ve Noticed other guests complaining about their meals! Not going back too soon... unfortunately l,
Noise level was prohibitive for decent conversation. Food and service are first rate.
Not up to its usual standard. Had to wait almost half hour after our reservation. Bread plate was smaller than usual. Drink was overpriced at $15.40 for Manhattan. Steak was tough with large piece of muscle throughout.
Excellent service, delicious food, lively atmosphere and amazing martinis.
Always excellent food and service. Wildfire salad and NY strip are always excellent.
