Food was good, service was excellent!!!
We had a wonderful birthday celebration at Wildfire. The service and food were both amazing. This will be our go to for special occasions.
Didn't eat there. We had a reservation and had requested a table in the bar. When we got there, there were no bar booths available, and the bar was packed. No room to grab a drink and wait. So we took a table in the dining room. It was a terrible location next to the kitchen and in the walkway. We decided to leave.
Service is outstanding. Waiting time is very reasonable. The environment makes it feels everyone is welcomed.
Birthdays and family
Atmosphere is loud. Waited a long time to order. Calamari felt like a no show eat only over fried batter. Main dish was average. So for the value this place is overpriced.
Wonderful attention from arrival to end for our family Celebrating my mother’s 75th birthday. The food was excellent.
Great food and fantastic, service.
Amanda made the evening very enjoyable
The food and service at this Wildfire is always excellent. Wonderful choices, and daily specials that are tasty and interesting. Wonderful dessert options, as well. Perfect for lunch or dinner.
We celebrated the birthdays of my husband and his brother. Service was great and the food is always outstanding!!
Thanks for the delicious birthday treats for the two birthday “boys”!!
Love coming back for great steaks and atmosphere
Staff is friendly and helpful
Excellent in every way. Waiter was fun and on top of things. We had filet and fish. Both excellent. A very comfortable restaurant and ambiance.
The waitress took our order. That was about all she did. The buser replenished our bread, refilled our wines, brought our entrees, took our finished entrees, and then brought dessert. The waitress did however bring us our bill at the end
Filet mignon was a bit over cooked but still good. Creamed spinach was hard to eat because it was overly creamed. Bison meatballs were good. Baked Goat cheese was good. Dessert ice cream cookie was very good. Staff was nice. Noise level was loud.
This place needs to learn the difference between rare, medium and well done. Unforgivable given the prices, which are not cheap.
We were there for my husbands 60th birthday and service was awful! We won’t go back to Glenview Wildfire
Our food was served on the cold side. We ordered the filet trio medium one of mine was well done and dry and very chewy. The other order was all medium rare and cold. Very disappointed excepted more out of Wildfire.
we've been to this Wildfire many times in the past and must say, each time the quality of the food & the service seems to be decreasing while the prices keep going up. My seafood platter had 3 minuscule scallops, 2 tiny shrimp, a 2 bite crab cake that was mushy and tasted of more filling than crab & a 3 bite piece of salmon that was good. charging a $1.95 up-charge for a plain baked potato as a side dish was surprising. paying $16.15 for one straight up martini is really over the top. the first round of cocktails took over 15 mins to arrive after we ordered -- the server did come to the table a few times to say that the bar was "busy". After we finished eating, we had to ask other servers to find our server to inquire about coffee & dessert. a refill on coffee was never offered. all in all, an OK dining experience, but not at all the EXCEPTIONAL time that we've had here in the past.
There were 2 things that disappointed me. First was the top of a sugar packet at the bottom of my drink and the second was when I asked the server to wrap up the left overs of my bone in ribeye, she discarded the bone. This was something I was looking forward to enjoying at home.
One of few restaurants that 3 generations like!
The only thing I was disappointed with was our seating. Usually I request the martini lounge. I made reservations with open table and forgot to submit my request. When the hostess asked where we would like to sit, I ofcourse asked about the martini lounge. It wasn’t available so they asked would I rather sit in the room near the hostess desk is or the main dining room at a booth. I chose the main dining room booth. It was another person that sat us and he brought to the furthest room that’s separated by a byfold door (accordian curtain). I asked the waiter I thought they said there is a open booth in the main dining room? He just shook his shoulders and said that’s where they told him to sit us. I was disappointed for sure and not happy they were unwilling to move us or even try. Live and learning guess. I guess I always have high expectations from Wildfire because it’s usually my favorite restaurant and this is my favorite location as well.
Always a pleasant experience. The food is always amazing and the servers are always great!
Seated right away. food was excellent. only negatives were the noise (busy place) and felt a little cramped in at the table.
The restaurant was very busy but service was prompt and attentive. I ordered the Prime Rib sandwich which was delicious. My wife ordered the Waldorf salad with grilled chicken. The salad was delicious but the grilled chicken was tasteless. Overall though we were pleased with our visit.
THIS MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT FOR ALL OCASSIONS. THE WAITSTAFF IS ALWAYS PLEASENT.
I have been coming here since they opened.
All I can say it's my favorite.
We've been coming to Wildfire for many years and they never fail to satisfy. The service is outstanding. The food is great - delicious and consistent. The atmosphere is pleasantly loud and celebratory. Everyone always seems to be having a good time.
Great service! Great food. Dining room tends to be a bit noisy but everything else outweighs that.
Food was very good. Service was bad. Took waiter about 15 minutes to get to our table. Ordered drinks and apps.
Then ordered dinner. Drinks took about 20 minutes to get to our table. 5 minutes later app and salads arrived. 5?minutes later dinners arrived.
Food was good but no time to enjoy. Won’t go back.
Service was SUPERB! The food was very, very disappointing for the 2nd time in 3 months. Steak was tough and had no flavor - au jus was watered down, baked potato was warm, and coffee was cold. All in all, food was enough of a disaster that I will not be coming back for a good while. The only thing that saved the nigh was the server and the appetizer.
Great dining experience. Our waiter Steve was awesome. Great service. It was a very enjoyable dinner!
From the bartender to the server. All great service. Good food and even better cocktails! One of my husbands faves.
We were in the wine room which was perfect because we had toddlers with us and they were able to run around and not be in anyone’s way.
Wildfire was recommended to us by the hotel we were staying it, when we ask for a good restaurant. What a find. We had some of the best food items we have ever had. Our daughter said her steak was the best she'd ever had. We all agreed, especially our 16 year old granddaughter, that the desserts were also top notch superb. Our waitress was absolutely the best! We were in Glenview for my aunt's 100th birthday party. When we told relatives that we had had a superb dinner at Wildfire, they weren't surprised. They love it too! Absolute 5 Star dinner and service. Thank you!
My wife and I had dinner, it was good, that's all. One appetizer, two glasses of wine, two entrees, with tip $120. Not sure its worth that to be truthful, but, if you want a very quiet, older crowd, this would be your place. Service was friendly, tables and surroundings very clean, large parking lot, seated quickly, large bar area with tables if you want to eat, so it all adds up to a good dining experience.
Our waitress was outstanding! Unfortunately, don't know her name.
Food is always good, place is always full. Make a reservation. Plan on about $100 for dinner for 2
We had a delicios birthday dinner and dessert. Our server, Alex, was great. We count Wildfire as a really nice spot for lunch or dinner.
Kale artichoke dip excellent. Mushroom crusted pork chop excellent. French dip excellent. Almond crusted cod - heavy on the crust, light on the fish. Coconut shrimp came out looking too pale. Desert plate was OK. Server was excellent.
