We were celebrating a birthday and were very happy that we chose Wildfire - Lincolnshire. The service was wonderful. Our waiter, David, was very helpful describing things and offering suggestions. The food was delicious. Everyone was very happy with their food. My father-in-law's comment was that it was the best prime rib that he ever had - and he's 92!

We were there on a very very busy Saturday night. It was so crowded we could barely get to the host stand. However, they had our booth reserved and ready within minutes and honored our request to be seated in the bar. Our server and the gentleman refilling the waters were very friendly and efficient in spite of the crowd. Based on what we saw when we walked in, we were concerned it wasn’t going to be a great experience but in fact it was one of the best we’ve had there. It was great!

Very chaotic in restaurant. The waiter asked us "Aren't you going to take any pictures" since it was my daughter's birthday. This was not her only celebration, we already had pictures. It seemed judgemental. The busboy was more attentive than server.

Normally this location is great but Friday night they did not seem to have it together. Meal for the couple we were with came to us incorrectly and had to be totally redone. By the time it arrived we had finished. This was after waiting a very long time for a chopped salad we were sharing to arrive. Maybe it was because we were sitting in a reserved table in the bar or maybe new staff. It was clear to everyone it was a disaster including the staff. No one even came by to apologize. Wildfire is normally much better than this.

I was there for lunch on 7/10 and ordered a cheeseburger. It was very charred and tasted like an ashtray. The condiments and toppings were minimal at best, the bun was HUGE and it disguised the much smaller meat patty - deceiving for sure. Since I was on a tight timeline I chose not to ask them to take it back so I just ate it.

Food was great. Have gone there a couple of times and food has not disappointed. Service was pretty good but restaurant it's always full and servers have many tables. Tonight our server was great for 85% of time, attentive and near but towards the end when it was time for dessert and to pay he was a bit absent. Other then that it's a great place to dine

The server, Marissa, did not go above and beyond to help us. We wanted a half price Chardonnay bottle which is their Monday special, and they had already run out by 6:45 pm which in my opinion is wrong - they should have more than needed. It’s not like it’s a perishable item and you can only have so much of it. She did not offer to find alternatives for us and we decided to forgo alcohol completely because of that. We were celebrating my partner’s birthday and there was nothing special about the meal. The rest of the meal was spent with Marissa trying to avoid contact with us and just providing the extreme basics. I doubt we’ll go back there again. We’ll go to Saranello’s down the street in a heartbeat.

Started with waiter forgetting drink order but he was a nice guy. Crab cakes were ok. Salad pictured here was sad and tired, old lettuce. Waiter forgot to tell chef to hold the sauce on the scallops so had to redo. Ribs were good but barbecue sauce was not very good, hard to believe they can't get that right. Twice baked potatoes were excellent. Not nearly as good as the Glenview location.

We were seated immediately. Server came right away, took our drink orders and was back shortly with the drinks. Meal was served in a timely manner. Food was delicious and temperature appropriate. Noise level was high as the place was very busy and tables close together.

We’ve been going to wildfire for years and we feel that the quality/portions have gone down while the prices have gone up. The au gratin potatoes have been undercooked the last 2-3 times we’ve been there. We don’t like fast service but we spent 2.5 hours there and the service was slow. Our server was cracking too many jokes and wouldn’t stop.

The evening dinner started out very nice. Our waiter was very professional and friendly. Our drinks came but slowly. I ordered a Tito vodka with olives but was brought a Tito with lime which I specifically said I did not want. Hmmm. Okay people make mistakes. My wife and I ordered salads to start. I ordered the special watermelon salad. I found it just OK. Nothing special. I should have ordered the salad my wife ordered. It looked much better. Next the main course. We both love Wildfire’s halibut covered in crushed almonds. My wife’s piece of fish was just terrific. However I could not help but notice that my piece was not a good cut of fish. It was a ver thin piece of fish. Nonetheless it was tasty. Our waiter during these 2 courses was attentive. In fact at one point my wife inadvertently knocked her drink over. The waiter cleaned it up promptly and with a pleasant demeanor. After we finished the main course we sat and chatted. We noticed after maybe 10 minutes that our waiter had not checked on us. When he did stop by he said he would leave us alone since we were talking. We smiled approval.

Unfortunately, we did not see the waiter at all for another 2 minutes and when we saw him, he was walking across the room and I waved my hand indicating we were ready to pay. In short order we left. Our waiter while leaving us alone all this time never stopped by to see if we wanted an after dinner drink, or dessert, or just coffee. Nothing. This is not very good which is why I rated as I did. I will say on other occasions (we live near the restaurant) we have had much better experiences. Blame it on the law of averages!

Our waiter, Alfredo, was excellent. Our experience was not a common one but left much to be desired. We ordered a chopped salad, turkey burger, a bison burger and cedar plank salmon. The salad and salmon were excellent. Both burgers had to be sent back and the turkey burger twice. Both came with cheese when no cheese was ordered. The turkey burger returned with no cheese but with mustard, which specifically was not ordered. The bison burger came back with the cheese having been shaved off leaving the burger half mutilated.
The restaurant deducted the charge for one of the burgers.
