✨YAKINIKU SPOT IN LA WITH WAGYU FROM JAPAN✨ When I visited Japan, I was shocked at how much better the Japanese A5 wagyu tasted over there than seemingly the same meat in the U.S. While most restaurants rely on large distributors that ship frozen meat from Japan (or serve American or Australian wagyu instead of Japanese), this Japanese barbecue spot in Los Angeles handles everything in-house, leading to a much higher standard for just about everything. This is Yazawa Beverly Hills, and they’re the only spot I’ve found in LA with meat quality that actually rivals what I had in Japan. And while it’s certainly not cheap, a meal here is 100% worth it for insanely tender, melt-in-your-mouth beef that doesn’t even need any sauce. Here’s everything I tried (⭐️ = personal fave): 🥩 Yazawa Omakase $210/person ⭐️ ↳ 3 Item Wagyu Appetizer ↳ 2 Cuts of Yazawa Wagyu ↳ Yazawa-Yaki ⭐️ ↳ 4 Cuts of Yazawa Wagyu ↳ Chateaubriand ⭐️ 🥗 Yazawa Garden Salad $17 🧄 Garlic Japanese Wagyu Rice $26 ⭐️ 🍓 Strawberry Crème Brûlée $9 ⭐️ 🍮 Annin Tofu $7 🍶 Kamoizumi Umeshu “Umelicious” $14 🍊 Mikan Umeshu $15 ⭐️ Send this to someone you wanna go with, and follow me for more LA restaurant reviews, recommendations, and things to do! @yazawameatbh #losangeles #lafoodie #thingstodoinla #japanesefood #wagyu
