Abigail Hall pays homage to femininity and history through comfortable yet beautiful 40-seat living room style bar. Located in the original Ladies Reception Hall of the former Cornelius Hotel of 1908, we like to believe it was once where the suffragettes of Abigail Scott Duniway’s (our bar’s namesake) time convened.Design features include a fireplace, a reproduction of the penny-tile floors and green wainscot walls from 1911 and a mix of lush materials and colors including pink and deep maroon leather banquettes and fabrics. The walls are hand-painted mural by local Portland artist Michael Paulus. We will always find ways to honor to the many women who continue to inspire us through our offerings, but of course Abby welcomes ALL into our space.
