- JJimAtlantic Canada •3 reviews5.0Dined on Apr 22, 2026@redchilliesroyale We finally made our first visit to Red Chillies Royale—and let’s just say… stretchy pants should be mandatory attire. We kicked things off with the Kochi Crunch Beef (BDF, GF)—pan-fried beef tossed with onions, curry leaves, and a bold Kerala spice blend that didn’t just knock on the door… it kicked it in and made itself comfortable. Absolutely packed with flavour. For my main, I went with the butter chicken, served with naan, rice, and salad. Rich, creamy, and the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-bite just to appreciate your life choices. Comfort food at its finest. Raymond tackled the Royal Tandoori Sampler, featuring grilled chicken tikka, succulent shrimp, and tandoori chicken. It arrived sizzling and smelling like heaven, and judging by how quickly it disappeared, I assume it was excellent… I only managed to steal one bite. We also shared a plain dosa—a beautifully crisp, savoury South Indian crepe made from fermented rice and lentil batter. Light, delicate, and the perfect contrast to the richer dishes. Our server was attentive, friendly, and took the time to walk us through the menu like a culinary tour guide—which we clearly needed (and appreciated). This was our first visit… but not our last. Not even close. As you know, I don’t hand out stars—but if I did, this place would be sitting pretty with a solid 5 out of 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 720 Sackville Dr, Lower Sackville, NS #localfood #eatlocal #novascotia #sackville #restaurantMore infoRedchillies Royale Bar & Grill$$$$• Canadian• Lower Sackville•4.5
