Very unassuming from the outside but wow from the door opening until the moment we left, we couldn’t have had better service. Everyone was so attentive (appropriately so). We went for our anniversary and from the booking table, to the lady who took us to our table to our waitress, everyone knew and we were congratulated by them all. A lovely touch. The food was exquisite. The drinks were lovely. The food and drinks turned up at the best time. The waitress recommended food and drink which was a lovely touch. The decor and ambience was lovely and it was great to see original church features kept in this now modern restaurant. There was a private room behind glass in what looked like a wine cellar. It was stunning and definitely somewhere to have a social occasion. The only minor complaint was that at random points throughout the evening (I think when someone opened the door) we couldn’t smell cigarette smoke. Really not sure how but we smelt it about 3/4 times. Again this is a very minor point and it did spoil our amazing experience. Highly recommend.
