Best Beer Gardens in Homerton

Full disclosure...I'm not a vegan! However the mushrooms on toast were very tasty and the staff were a delight!

Really great pub with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. We had the fish and chips and the burger, and both were absolutely spot on. The fish was crispy and fresh with perfectly cooked chips, and the burger was juicy, full of flavour, and served with generous sides. Everything came out hot and well presented. Great drinks selection and excellent service throughout. Definitely one of our favourites

We were enticed to the bar by the news James Cochran was doing a residency and being Easter Sunday a Cochran roast was definitely on the cards. Firstly his food was, as always, phenomenal. A roast lamb and a veggie mushroom option were superbly cooked and trimmings to die for. All served in rustic serving dishes made for a perfect Easter roast. Food aside I also need to mention the bar and the staff. How I've never known about this place being a local is beyond me. The bar is a traditional, rustic place with great ambiance...and I think I counted over 20 beers on tap and such a fabulous selection. Then the staff - absolutely gems. Friendly and hilarious, always around and always smiling. I will be going back - many times!
