Excellent. Authentic German food, great service, fun place. Schnitzel (original - calf) is excellent. Great beers and wines. Exactly the place to go for the German tavern meal experience! Highly recommended.

We had a truly wonderful experience. Everything exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere is absolutely stunning — rich with beautiful historical details that create a unique and memorable setting. Every element feels thoughtfully curated and adds to the overall charm of the place. The food was simply perfect — beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with great care and attention to detail. Each dish felt special and refined. Equally impressive was the service. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout our visit. It was a flawless experience from start to finish, and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended.

What a find on a quiet pre-XMAS Sunday night. The bar had more people than the restaurant- so we had a nice quiet meal basically with the kitchen and server to ourselves. What was amazing about this small but creative menu, there are new takes on old traditional dishes. Loved everyone of them that our party of 4 tried (we are sharing, social eaters). The wine list was extensive and covered a lot of areas and grapes that you would expect. The desserts were also flavorful, creative, and potentially too large! The decor and design were spot on and the history of the building fascinating. I will be back!

Very very friendly service. Portions are massive! Good price. Paid 60 € for 4 meals and drinks. Atmosphere is very special.
