Best Bistros in City Island

I thought the atmosphere was really fun and lively, although just a little bit loud. The staff was extremely accommodating and very friendly. They went out of their way to make me steak tartare when it was not typically on the menu for that day. And it was very good. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was my friend’s salad had way too much dressing which she found drowned out the flavors of the other ingredients. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We went on Mothers Day for a late brunch at 130pm and had a great time. A lot of places let you down on holidays so I tend to stay home on holidays but I am so glad we went out fur brunch as the food and service was great. This is a must try!

Thank you all for another great meal! Villaggio’s in Whitestone, NY is like eating dinner at home, but better. Your meal is cooked and served to you by the best staff in town! My Jumbo Shrimp Oreganata, Sautéed Broccoli, and Mashed Potatoes were delicious. My husband had the Arugula Salad with Grilled Shrimp. Their cocktails are always made to perfection and to your liking! Villaggio’s is open seven days a week. Lunch is served Monday to Saturday and Brunch on Sundays!

Wonderful little neighborhood spot. They shop only locally to support the neighborhood. French was lovely, gave us the history of the place and specialties on the menu. Delicious lunch and wine with friends.

I really enjoyed the brunch! The food and mimosas were amazing. I’ll definitely be back.
