Best Breakfast Restaurants in Wilhelmsdorfer Vorstadt

Apart from some slow service, food was excellent and good value. Recommended

Unbedingt reservieren. Das Essen rechtfertigt es. Operativ ist noch Luft nach oben. /English/ The food is genuinely good. Eggs Benedict variations are well-executed, fresh, and portioned with generosity. The space is charming. It fits this corner of Prenzlauer Berg without trying too hard. Staff are friendly and attentive. There is no shortage of them either. The problem is coordination - front-of-house management and training, not headcount. Over roughly 90 minutes, we watched 20 to 25 walk-in guests get turned away at the door. Tables near us stayed empty throughout. Whatever the reason internally, that is lost revenue and lost goodwill. Gluten-free options are limited. Staff were uncertain which dishes qualify - worth checking before you go if this matters to you. Book ahead. The food earns it. The operation has room to improve.
