Best Breakfast Restaurants in Chalco de Díaz Covarrubias

Thank you to the entire team at Balta. This was our first time in Mexico City and we had breakfast at Balta each morning. The food was lovely and the service was amazing! Everyone one made us feel at home ❤️

Perfect place to have a great meal and chat, music is good and not loud at all. Would come back, no doubt. Aguachile verde, chimichangas & braised octopus were the best.

If I were summarizing: If you are staying in Mexico City and you value style and location, want to be somewhere vibrant, and don’t mind the potential for city noise or small compromises in the “ultra-luxury” domain, then Andaz Condesa is a strong choice. If you’re looking for absolute peaceful calm, ultimate sound insulation, or the very top tier in every hotel service detail, you may want to compare alternatives Breakfast offering is not quite matching the price, especially given the luxury branding. However everything was fresh and service by staff was amazing. Rooms felts darker due to the big pillar built in the middle and that why rom felt smaller then what you paid for. My friends room on 5th floor was smaller and darker compared to mine... I guess I got lucky. Overall all amenities were provided and when ask it was delivered to the room. The rooftop pool and bar, spa & wellness offering, and pet-friendly features are big positives for many staying at this property. The hotel is in the heart of the trendy Condesa neighbourhood of Mexico City — tree-lined streets, great cafés, restaurants, walkable, and a neighbourhood with lots of character. Guests consistently appreciate the walk-ability and vibe. However, I was given room really late. I check-in at 12.30 pm and my room was not ready till 4pm, when check-in time is 3 pm. I had to WhatsApp message then continously to make sure my room was ready as I was operating for the wedding form my friends room and it's not fair to them that they had to share the room untill I got mine.
