Four of us went for the Tasting Menu on the ‘High Table’ for my Birthday. All I can say is that it was incredible. I’ve eaten at many of the UK’s Michelin starred restaurants and tried their tasting menus at 3 times more expensive than ‘Ember’ and they weren’t a patch on our food last night. Wow!…Just Wow….Go, it’s brilliant.

Our first trip to Ivy Cambridge and we weren’t disappointed. We arrived early and welcomed by a lovely host who showed us straight to our table, I had requested a quiet corner and that’s exactly what we got. The staff were attentive, well attired, friendly and professional, the food ( we opted for the ‘Cool Brittania’ menu ) was devine, an excellent drinks list and beautiful glassware ! The seating was very comfortable as was the temperature and it was lovely and quiet with soft background music. The washrooms were clean and the restaurant looked spotless. 5 stars, a fabulous experience that topped off our day out in Cambridge !

I’ve already recommended The Oak Bistro to several people. Excellent food, very accommodating when we showed up on a busy Thursday lunchtime 45 minutes early for our reservation, having caught an earlier train. Food was exceptional. And, with the option of a Prix fixe menu, there was a decent range of prices.

Our long awaited visit to Midsummer House did not disappoint. Outstanding food, great service, excellent wine pairings. Need to return in summer to enjoy the location as it was dark and I’m sure the surroundings would be a joy to see. Thank you all for making our visit memorable.

    We've been enjoying the White Swan for a few months now whilst living nearby, last night was our first steak night and it was outstanding! As always the service was fantastic, Toni and the team are so professional so friendly, they go above and beyond and make sure you always feel welcomed and valued. Their gluten free menu is extensive and they are all so careful, if they don't know the answer to an allergy they will go hunting til they get it! Just qwonderful experience, I have never had a bad meal or left feeling the need to eat for the rest of the evening.
