This is my family's favorite place to eat in Altadena. The honey walnut melon shrimp is divine and the green beans are not to be missed. The chow fun noodles with beef is a nice counterpoint to the sweet shrimp and the spicy heat of the kung pao chicken. Chopsticks upon request (regular and bamboo). I love the little fortune cookies dipped in white chocolate that show up with the bill.

Lunasia is my go to place for dim sum. The food is excellent, and the service is very good. All of the items are fresh, tasty, and well liked by all my guests. Our meals regularly include the Har Gow with its plump large portion of shrimp. A unique item is their Tofu with Abalone Sauce. All the large vegetable dishes we tried are tasty and very popular. For the sweeter items, my friends and I rely on the Sesame Balls and the Egg Custard, both very well made. Finally, their tea is excellent. We order Tie Guan Yin or Pu Ehr. Both are of very good quality. Our servers include Eric, who is very friendly and responsive to our requests. Above all, the Alhambra location Manager Ken, is courteous, friendly and highly competent. In this lifetime, my friends and I are fortunate to have access to such a quality restaurant.

Very quick service. You order with a QR code and food comes very quickly. I ordered takeout while dining in and was able to put a note to put it in a to go container. They also split the bill in two separate transactions.
