Best Cocktail Bars in Monterey

My wife and I were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary. We were told by friends this is a wonderful place to see the sunset and have a delicious dinner. They were not wrong. I sent a message to the staff at Mission Ranch and they sat us at the most perfect table to see everything, too bad there was cloud cover, so we couldn’t see a sunset, but the view was spectacular. I got prime rim and it was excellent, seasoned to perfection. My wife got crab cakes and they were full of crab meat. We also got shrimp cocktail and a shrimp were huge.

Such a wonderful restaurant! Staff here is ever so friendly. Manager is a delight and stopped by our table to check in on us more than once. They made a great apéritif recommendation that was so good we went downstairs and bought a bottle! Food is always fabulous. One day I might get something other than the fornello pugliese but not this day. Terra really makes date night with the wife extra special!

Always a delight. Thevfood, service and ambience are so underrated. We love it here.

Stayed at the Marriott for a night and was excited to learn that Fin + Field Restaurant had an omelette station. It was great. The food was fantastic and plenty to be offered as they had a buffet.
