Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Carson City

My wife and I strongly recommend Sapori Italian Kitchen. The panoramic view of Lake Tahoe and surrounding mountains is spectacular. Having just returned from A visit to Italy, we can say that the food was very authentic Northern Italian. The service was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. The price was very reasonable and they graciously gave my wife a free Chocolate Tortufo with a candle for her birthday.

THis was our first visit to the Gastro Pub, it wont be the last. The ambiance was lovely, the food delicious and the prices reasonable. I loved it that we would order gluten free, have a lettuce wrap instead of a bun etc. Their choices for sides were great as well.

Realizing that we dined during shoulder season, we were very pleased with our overall experience. The staff was very attentive and we received stellar service. Many times when service is slow the staff disappears in the back. Not this staff, even though it was quite slow they made sure that we had everything we needed from beginning to end. We went with our waiter's suggestions for our entrees and neither dissapointed. Both were fresh, cooked perfect and were generously portioned. I would love to return when the restaurant is vibrant in either the winter or summer

Phenomenal! The food was delicious and appropriate size. The server was phenomenal and thorough. For any gluten free people, they have a full menu!
