We are a Murphys regular and have never had a bad experience. We visited for dinner this time, our server was kind and attentive (but not too attentive to be annoying), our appetizer came out quickly and was delicious. We each got the roasted chicken as entrees - loving the fall complements that have been added to the dish.

We came for my husband's birthday. Upon arrival, they handed him a birthday card signed by all of the staff! What a nice touch! Multiple people stopped by the table to wish him happy birthday as well. The cocktails were DELICIOUS, the apps came out quickly, and the entrees were to die for. We ordered the Japanese maple and espresso martini, the skewers, queso and wonton chips, the chicken tacos, and the thai noodles salad (which was massive and even tastier for lunch the next day). We will be back for sure.

We had a spectacular meal at the sundial. Mike our server and staff were AMAZING! Certainly made the evening special for our anniversary. The food was divine: charred octopus app, lamb chops and infamous filet mignon. Side of brussel sprouts. The brought out a cheesecake dessert with a candle for our celebration! Of course the views are magnificent. Sundial is definitely the spot in the ATL!

Fantastic ambiance and spaced out tables. The service was incredible to accommodate our party during the switch over from breakfast to lunch. Terrific place to meet before any business in nearby downtown Atlanta.

The service here was wonderful! Our Server was quick to take our order, get our drinks, and even get our food. The aesthetic was charming and noise was low providing a very intimate environment. Our drinks were amazing and our food was very tasty.

We had a bit of drama getting to the restaurant, however once we got their we were treated to an amazing culinary experience paired with some awesome wines. This was a fabulous birthday dinner that I enjoyed immensely. This was an absolute pleasure

Unmatched Views and an Incredible Sunset Experience The view is absolutely breathtaking! The Sun Dial is all about the experience of taking in Atlanta from the 72nd floor, and the 360° rotating observation deck makes it truly unique. There really isn’t a bad spot — no matter where you are, you’ll have an incredible view. You can also walk around the deck to find the perfect perspective as the sun sets. One thing to clarify is that the bar and restaurant below do not rotate. It’s the Sun Dial deck and its lounge chairs that rotate a full 360°, taking roughly 40 minutes to make a complete rotation. It’s a really cool way to watch the city change around you while enjoying the sunset. Our server was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and always very quick to bring us drinks or anything else we needed. Service definitely added to the experience. That said, the food and cocktail menus are fairly limited. They have the basics covered with beer, wine, and some good classic cocktails, but if you’re looking for creative or specialty cocktails, you won’t find a huge selection here. The food menu is also pretty small, making this more of a place to grab a quick bite and a drink rather than somewhere I would plan an entire dinner around. This may not be the trendiest rooftop in Atlanta, and the food and drinks aren’t necessarily what make it special. The view is the star of the show. As the tallest rooftop in Atlanta, the panoramic views are simply unmatched. I would absolutely recommend coming here at least once while you’re in Atlanta — especially around sunset. Come for the view, grab a drink, relax, and watch the city transform as the sun goes down. You won’t regret it!
