Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Morningside-Lenox Park

We had a spectacular meal at the sundial. Mike our server and staff were AMAZING! Certainly made the evening special for our anniversary. The food was divine: charred octopus app, lamb chops and infamous filet mignon. Side of brussel sprouts. The brought out a cheesecake dessert with a candle for our celebration! Of course the views are magnificent. Sundial is definitely the spot in the ATL!

We had a bit of drama getting to the restaurant, however once we got their we were treated to an amazing culinary experience paired with some awesome wines. This was a fabulous birthday dinner that I enjoyed immensely. This was an absolute pleasure

We came for my husband's birthday. Upon arrival, they handed him a birthday card signed by all of the staff! What a nice touch! Multiple people stopped by the table to wish him happy birthday as well. The cocktails were DELICIOUS, the apps came out quickly, and the entrees were to die for. We ordered the Japanese maple and espresso martini, the skewers, queso and wonton chips, the chicken tacos, and the thai noodles salad (which was massive and even tastier for lunch the next day). We will be back for sure.

We are a Murphys regular and have never had a bad experience. We visited for dinner this time, our server was kind and attentive (but not too attentive to be annoying), our appetizer came out quickly and was delicious. We each got the roasted chicken as entrees - loving the fall complements that have been added to the dish.

I am a regular with Aria since they first opened, yes 26+ years of dining there! First time with new chefs (exec and pastry both new). Very impressed, enjoyed their leek and then foie gras small plates (not that small honestly) and then the halibut which was as vibrantly fresh as you can imagine and also beautifully prepared, not dry at all! The dessert was the first on the list very creative with peanut butter. Would love for them to introduce a chocolate dessert though they have an amazing pastry chef so let's get creative! Also chestnut / chocolate dessert like a Mont Blanc? Love Aria and could not recommend it enough!
