My husband and I took a trip to Asheville for our anniversary and chose Asheville Proper for our anniversary dinner. The experience was exceptional. When I made the reservation, I let them know we were celebrating. When we arrived, we were given a signed card from the staff wishing us a Happy Anniversary, which was such a sweet touch. We ordered a bottle of wine, steaks, sides and desserts. Everything was presented beautifully and was absolutely delicious and perfectly made. We will definitely be back when we return to the area in the future.

Great service! Went here for myself and my other half’s anniversary! She has celiac and loved the menu here. They gave us complimentary treats, a hand written note, and amazing food and service. Amazing wine selection as well.

We were very impressed with this restaurant. The food was excellent. Our server, Natalie, was attentive, friendly and very personable. She was not overly pushy, and took very good care of us during our visit. Fine dining without the need to dress up. Highly recommend!

If you go, you really need to try the mixed grill appetizer. I think next time I want it as my entree. Ours had chunks of boar and elk and boar and venison sausages with 3 very different, but delicious, dipping sauces. Yum. The rest of the meal was delicious but that mixed grill was amazing.

Outstanding, unforgettable experience! We were very kindly greeted by the general manager then given plenty of time to decide our order. Served promptly, THEN unexpected gift of dessert from the chef. The general manager and the chef came to personally greet us, introduce themselves & thank us for dining with them. Our server was kind and professional! We came because we had a $20 voucher but we will be returning soon!! All staff members were humble and gracious. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS! Portions were generous too. We had lamb chops & scallops that were perfectly cooked, spiced & presented. The seafood pasta had generous amount of seafood & amazing flavor. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Will return soon!
