Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Lake Bona Vista

When our waitress Jules told us she was excited for us to experience the tasting menu with the wine pairing, I knew we were in for a treat. The wines pairing was exceptional, bringing out the best part of each bite. The food was phenomenal, with my husband and I not being able to ultimately pick a favorite, though the sable fish and pithiviers were very high on the list. The venue is so fun and cute, adding such a whimsy to the whole place, and Jules was excellent. Very attentive, explained each dish so thoroughly, and even took photos of us for our anniversary dinner. I am so pleased to have finally tried Rouge and it exceeded my, admittedly, very high expectations.

Our first visit to Model Milk did not disappoint. Honestly, it may be our new favourite. Fantastic food, very friendly and quick service, and a casual but special feeling atmosphere. We will visit again soon.

The portions were perfect. As someone new to scotch, I thoroughly enjoyed the Premium Scotch flight paired with the smoked bourbon pecan pie. It has opened my taste buds to a lot of exploration.

Excellent service as we had a large group of 15-20 people. Food great and an overall great first visit. Would go again.

We were ecstatic to find a gluten free restaurant. Only one of the four of us needed that option but the rest of us loved being there as well. One person didn’t enjoy their hamburger bun but the burgers and pierogies and chicken parm were all fantastic. And the potatoes and veggies as sides were done to perfection.
