Best Contemporary British Restaurants in Pett

We had a wonderful lunch at The Union yesterday to celebrate my Mum's birthday - we decided on the 'Feasting' Menu and what a treat! The food was absolutely delicious, some very unusual and special combinations, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The setting is also very nice, a roaring fire, which gives a beautiful timeless and quiet ambience combined with excellent service made for a very good choice!

The new weekly lunchtime menu for November is an excellent idea; where else could you have a 2 course lunch for £17 and a 3 course for £20. The quiche starter, steak frites main and crepes to follow were all delicious

An outstanding experience at Lury Hastings! Twelve courses of amazing food with a Sri Lankan twist. Each course was imaginative and presented beautifully. The service was exceptional - each dish explained in detail and served on beautiful pottery locally made. Great wines to compliment the food. We have eaten at many wonderful restaurants over the years and this one has to be the top of my list. Jack Lury deserves a Michelin star.. and I’m sure he will get it soon! Don’t hesitate just book! Excellent food and service, especially as we were a group of 15

The roast was the best we have had in a restaurant. Was so delicious! And sitting in their garden so quiet and peaceful. Perfect afternoon! Thank you so much!
