    Awesome experience for our first visit to 8@Gazegill, food was absolutely fantastic, staff were the loveliest I have ever had the pleasure of and exceptionally knowledgeable about the food and the restaurant history. Prices are great and countryside surrounding is stunning. Will definitely be visiting again very soon.

    Steak was absolutely delicious, as was the peppercorn sauce; my girlfriend described it as “the best peppercorn sauce I’ve ever had!”. Staff were both incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the ambience was great. We will certainly be back again!

    Fantastic 30th wedding anniversary meal. We had the £40 for 3 courses lunch and it was great value. Celeriac soup, cod tagine, sea bream and poached pear creme brulee and honeycomb semifedo with fresh honeycomb were all delicious, fair portions and perfectly cooked. We had warm homemade focaccia with piccolo peppers for the table and truffle and parmesan chips as a side with the main courses. All of the food was superb and as good as any Michelin * restaurant that we have dined in during visits to London. Toi drink we had a lovely bottle of viognier, which was well worth £33 and Pedro Ximinez sherry which was all delicious. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the ambiance of the restaurant is lovely. We had a beautiful lunch and we recommend Wreck 100%.

    The food was excellent. I had the lamb from the Sunday lunch menu. The ambience is good and loved the decor. It’s a small restaurant so wasn’t too noisy. Definitely go back
