Visited with my son we both ordered the same on the 2 courses for £25.95, the charted asparagus starter absolutely delicious, followed by the Spring Nourish Bowl, paid extra for sticky chicken, again couldn’t fault it absolutely delicious. The menu had a baked burnt cheesecake with rhubarb compote which I ordered, I love cheesecake and thus didn’t disappoint!! Will be returning again soon. Staff all friendly and attentive but not overly.

Absolutely beautiful location right on the canal, the barn itself is stunning and the ambiance excellent. The food was delicious and all of the staff were helpful and friendly. The owners were especially welcoming during our visit and we will most definitely return here and would highly recommend Th’Owd Tithe Barn if you are looking for a wonderful relaxing afternoon or evening.

We booked as part of a long weekend away and although some foods and wine were off the menu It was a really lovely evening. Staff very attentive and also you could have a conversation with them as well. Highly recommend 1740 restaurant and we will be back the next time we are on the area.

Longridge House is very easy to find and we arrived early, our table was ready so not a problem with being seated earlier than planned. Food was delicious and well presented. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. Will be recommending to friends and family. The location very pretty too.
