Best Contemporary European Restaurants in North of Foster / Rogers Park

This was the most amazing meal, service, wine pairing. It was the best meal that I have had in the last year. So personal, so focused, so wonderful and perfect.

Table Donkey & Stick has a great vibe - cool minimalist decor and vibrant atmosphere. Excellent service - the meal is paced so you can enjoy each dish. Make sure to try the Beef Cheek Croquettes! (as our server said, “life altering”!) the Fava Bean Dip is a nice change from hummus, and the Pork Schnizel is a classic.

We had such a wonderful time. From the minute we stepped in till when we left we felt so taken care of. Our server Vlaude M was so personable and kind and made the experience so special for us. We started with the Bergamot Margarita and Negroni Bianco (fantastic). Of course we did a course of the frozen espresso martinis which didn’t disappoint. Ended with the Sicilian Tartufo which was one of the best balanced and tasty cocktails I have had in years. All the food was incredible especially the Caesar salad popcorn which we order twice. The hand made card by our waiter just showed the level of detail she ensured to make our evening so memorable. Thank you to all the staff and especially Vlaude!
