Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Bala Cynwyd

Went out on a limb and ended up at Bellini’s after my previous reservations had to be cancelled. Happy Hour deals were great! The portions were huge even for happy hour deals. The food was delicious the waiters and staff were so nice! Would definitely recommend and go back. Recommend the Caesar Salad for happy hour and any of their happy hour drinks. The mussels were also delicious and a great steal for happy hour.

I’ve been coming to porcinis since it opened in the 90s. It’s still the same amazing restaurant staff and food. David is the best host and the gnocchi and cannoli are to die for. I’ll be back!!

The food and atmosphere were very good. We dined on a Sunday night and the restaurant was not overly crowded and pretty quiet. Though the food was very good, the entree prices were on high side (esp. pastas). I recommend the restaurant but be prepared to spend money.

Eggplant Parmesan is some of the best I’ve ever had. Portions are enormous. They are very up front that it’s byob — but of course I missed it and had to run to a nearby wine shop to get a bottle. The only real complaint is that the seating needs some improvement, in terms of density / placement, but also in terms of the stability of the furniture. My wife’s chair was so rickety that she had to swap it for another.

Food is always outstanding and service is always very good and very attentive.
