Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Burbank, Chicago / Illinois

Alla vita is a staple in our monthly roation of restaurants, not just for the amazing food but also the incredible service. We went on a Tuesday after Mother’s Day and our father‘s birthday and the restaurant made personal notes on each of the parents menus along with complementary dessert and champagne. They always go above and beyond, a neighborhood classic.

I go first for the Cesar Salad Best. Ever. Second for the pizza. Also the best.

We tried Gaia for the first time on Mother’s Day and were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the entire experience was. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The service was fantastic; the staff was attentive, never letting our drinks go empty, and every course was timed perfectly. The food was incredible, and every bite was delicious. The bruschetta was perfectly prepared, the Alfredo sauce was rich, creamy, and cheesy, and the chocolate fudge cake drizzled with strawberry sauce was absolutely to die for. If you’re looking for a charming Italian restaurant for a night out with friends, family, or someone special, I highly recommend giving Gaia a try!

Was very worried that the new restaurant would not live up to the old Il Vincinato’s (previously in that location), but after a few minutes, my worries were put to bed. Food was great, service was great. A hidden gem that more people should know about. Skip the pretensions and the high prices you find elsewhere, and come enjoy a fabulous meal here at reasonable costs.

The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful & hot when appropriate. We ordered the happy hour specials and couldn’t be happier with the quality and the portion size. Not to mention our gluten free pasta choice, you’d never know it.
