    Great Italian spot in Palm Desert. Don't be put off by it being by Ralph's. It's a great place for to eat. The carbonara is silky smooth. Add a glass of wine and its a lovely meal. All the food looks great and the meatballs are a great size. You can also sit at the bar and get something to eat. A great place to go, across from the JW Marriott.

    We chose to dine at Mamma Gina because we were shopping nearby, plus we hadn't eaten there in over 20 years and were curious to try it again. We were so impressed with the experience and we'll be returning often. The staff were all incredible, and the food great. Emilio was our waiter and he steered us in the right direction with his recommendations. We highly recommend any of the veal dishes and had fresh calamari to start. It's so nice knowing we have a great Italian restaurant here in the desert.
