Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Seal Beach, Orange County

My sister and I took my mom here for Mother's Day Brunch. The food, service and ambiance were nothing short of exceptional and they even threw in a small bouquet of flowers for each of us! Thank you for the amazing experience!

Fabulous mother's day lunch. Il girasole is set in the trendy SOCA center. The best Italian food. Innovative, superb details and flavors. The ossobuco lasagna was out of this world! The Pavlova meringue desert and the poached pear deserts were amazing! The best service by Italian waiters. Great ambiance and decor. Well deserved award of Best restaurant in Orange County.

My husband took me for Mother’s Day. We brought our one year old son, and he also loved it! He was in awe with looking around, he was not a picky eater at all and loved the baby spinach with balsamic vinaigrette from the prosciutto salad. The spaghetti carbonara with peas was perfect for him too! Our favorite part was the violinist, she was so kind. Everyone was very kind and helpful. At first I was little worried of the sound level for my baby’s ears but to our surprise he was so excited and wasn’t bothered! We couldn’t be anymore happier. My husband and I definitely want to go back more! Thank you everyone for making my first Mother’s Day special. The food and drinks were delicious. 😋

Went to the bar at 4:30 then had dinner reservations at 5:30 for 4 for a birthday and sat at one of the have moon booths near fireplace which was perfect! Everyone was very friendly and the drinks were amazing (even though mine was a virgin margarita!) and great views and deals for happy hour. Our dinners were all amazing! I had the filet and split a Caesar salad and they had pork chops, lasagne and delicious “garbage” salads and we added super tasty garlic bread. We had an amazing time and the ambiance, harbor views and fireplace were fabulous. We will return on a Wednesday at 4:00 for the all night happy hours soon 👌

We enjoyed our pre-Mother’s Day dining experience. The hosts were very accommodating for my physically challenged mother. Our waitress was attentive, with great suggestions, keeping our allergies in mind. This was my 2nd time, and my family’s first time. We all said we will return.
