Best Modern Southern American Restaurants in Preston Hollow

This was my second visit to Restaurant Beatrice and it did not disappoint. My friend and I enjoyed a delicious dinner. I ordered the oysters and shrimp & grits. My friend ordered the fresh catch which was the red fish. We paired our entrees with tequila old fashioneds and for dessert we enjoyed the praline pecan bread pudding and spiked coffee. The entire experience was a 10 out of 10, from the service from Shomari to the excellent meal!

We tried Velour on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. The food and drinks were well prepared. We ordered the crab claws, shrimp and grits and the lobster avocado toast. Everything was chef’s kiss. The crab claws were meaty, not over cooked and had the right amount of lemon butter flavor. The shrimp and grits were cooked to perfection. The sauce had the right amount of spice. I was glad they diced the andouille sausage,

Brought my family to Yardbird to celebrate a graduation and the waiter was fabulous. I also like that they accommodate large parties. Reservations is recommended. Our waiter, "D" provided excellent customer service. He remembered our orders, had great recommendations and was all around courteous. We didn't wait too long for the food and it was hot and tasty. I highly recommend the skillet cornbread too! Two thumbs up for Yardbird!

My group had such an amazing experience here. They offered us the opportunity to dine in the Air Stream and what a cool experience that was! It made for an absolute perfect evening! The drinks, the food, the waitstaff, all top notch!

The food and the service were both excellent. Make sure to try the "Biscuits for a Cause."
