Such a beautiful restaurant within the Sherborne. Small menu- with 5 choices of mains, but something for everyone really. We had the 3 course set menu with a whipped feta and crudités starter, gorgeous venison frites with a peppercorn sauce and a sticky toffee pudding which were all fabulous and great value. Also had the venison loin dish with the smoothest mashed potatoes I’ve ever had, beetroot and cavalo nero and a glorious sauce. Also the cherry Bakewell which was sweet and delicious with fantastic pastry. A super-attentive, enthusiastic waiter who spoke passionately about the produce. It was really quiet in there so really hoping that they are able to stay open- it would be so sad if such a great restaurant was struggling.

Every time we are in Bath, we eat several meals at Bill’s on Cheap Street. Great food, great service and reasonable prices. Make reservations if possible since it does get busy. Breakfast options - fresh eggs and sourdough bread with avocado for me today. Well made coffee!

I ordered a rump steak with peppercorn sauce which was absolutely wonderful, well cooked, well presented and very tasty. My only criticism is that it stated £38 for 2 courses but there is a surcharge of £10 if you have steak, this was not made clear enough on the menu. But great service and a very indulgent chocolate dessert made the whole experience worh while.

We had the Sunday roast, which first was served barely warm, so we had to return it, but then came to the right temperature! And was really tasty. We also had the Tomato soup to start which was really hot, also tasty, and deserts were good too. We had a really lovely waitress, smiling all the time, and nothing was too much trouble, I wish I had taken her name, as she deserves a mention .

As always, we had a lovely meal\! The food was delicious, piping hot and beautifully presented\. The staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming\. A perfect spot for a midweek lunch and a catch\-up with friends\. We’ll definitely be back\!

Been here many times, it never dissapoints, the atmosphere is excellent and the staff very professional and attentive, never had a bad meal yet, had a flat iron steak with peppercorn sauce, medium rare cooked to perfection, my partner had chicken Schnitzel also delightful, the wine selection is also just as it should be, the added bonus is the pianist who does requests.

The choice was interesting and there was something for everyone. Our waitress was a delight and very professional. The menu appeared expensive but maybe I am out of touch. The quality was very good I had venison which was delicious

We had a very lovely meal at Knoll House, lots of different choices of food, they were very accommodating towards my Mum, she has a small appetite and they plated her choices accordingly nothing was too much effort, fish and meat was superb, and the accompanying vegetables had been cooked with a light touch - not over cooked or soggy, perfect in everyway . Couldnt fault anything.
