Lovely meal here for early birthday celebrations. Staff couldn’t do enough for us - and even surprised us with cake at the end of the meal! - and the lemon & thyme chicken was delicious. Can also highly recommend the nibbles, especially the black pudding bon bons. Not the cheapest place but the food and service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Nice experience and food. Some others in the restaurant complained for various reasons about their food however I had no issues with mine. If I’m being picky they could spread the tables out a bit. At first I understood why it was so compacted however we had breakfast in the morning and it was full so they opened another room. Maybe open that room too for the evening and it will make it a bit better. Overall though the food and service was good and would recommend.

We had an absolutely fantastic lunch here. The server was incredibly polite and attentive, which paired perfectly with the outstanding quality of the food. We tried the lunch set, which was exceptional value and beautifully prepared. We also ordered the sesame prawn hash—which was packed with flavor and expertly cooked—and the Aberdeen Angus sirloin. While the steak took a little time to prepare, it was cooked to absolute perfection and undoubtedly worth the wait. Overall, this restaurant delivers top-tier food and hospitality. We highly recommend it and will certainly be returning!

As usual everything was great. Nunzio did a great job managing a number of large and slightly complicated orders, and was always available if we needed anything. And Istvan - incredible mastery of being ready to serve 10 wines blind in approximately an hour. A really great job! And kudos to the chef again for great steaks, especially the Pittsburgh fillets. Only comment would be - it would be terrific if you could have more larger cuts - especially porterhouse- available. Up to 2.5 kg thick cut! We would order those every time! Looking forward to the next time!

    The perfect pub. Roaring fire with sofas around it when you walk in, little rooms off the side for a quiet dinner, and just such a great atmosphere. The food was fantastic but the real charm was the service. The owner and staff were so friendly and kind, joking with the kids and warm and welcoming. There were lots of regulars but we felt like one too. Will definitely go back when we are in the area.

    Popular pub and restaurant in Woodstock. Unlike several other restaurants in town, it’s serves all afternoon through to late evening so great if like us you need an early dinner pre event at Blenheim Palace. Lovely food all served quickly, simple and unpretentious. Dined there twice now. This time was actually a little better.
