Best English Restaurants in Petworth

Ordered the tray and it was beyond phenomenal. Restaurants atmosphere was low lighting and perfect for a cozy afternoon. Food and drinks were served in great size for money portions. Staff was attentive and friendly, chatty but didn’t hover over which was great. Would happily come again and highly recommend for all ages and party sizes! Had something for everyone.

We eat infrequently in restaurants, but always high quality. This is the best we know. In every respect.

Lovely venue and very helpful staff. We had a cream tea for 2 with a glass of sparkling local wine (which we didn’t get!) Personally I don’t think I would pay that amount again for what we got, the salmon on a small roll was inedible and the sandwiches were literally a 1/4 of a piece of bread with filling each. The scone wasn’t particularly fresh and the cake offerings were tiny. The breakfast tea was lovely, and the service fabulous. So all in all don’t bother with the afternoon teas over priced, just not worth it. But service lovely so go and try the hotel, Spa and main meals.
