Best Ethiopian Restaurants in Washington DC

Good food and excellent service. This has been our goto restaurant for Ethiopian food since they opened here in Bethesda. Our friends, first timer, enjoyed the dinner vert much and said they be back!

We had a wonderful experience enjoying Ethiopian cuisine! The food was flavorful, beautifully presented, and full of unique spices that made every bite delicious. I especially loved the variety of dishes served together, making it fun to try different flavors and textures. Ethiopian food is a great experience for anyone who enjoys exploring new cuisines. The shared platter makes the meal feel special and brings everyone together around the table. Everything looked appetizing, and it was a lovely opportunity to enjoy something different with family. Definitely worth trying if you’re looking for a delicious and memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!

Food was absolutely amazing, especially the doro wat, which was just as delicious as was promised. Appetizers were a little bland, but we present as pale white people, so maybe they thought we could not handle the heat. Similar for the drinks. Service was good. Noise levels were perfect.

Wow from start to finish a wonderful experience! From the greeting at the door to the knowledgeable and attentive staff. I love Ethiopian food and this did not disappoint, great flavor profiles! I highly recommend. Wish I lived in DC

The place can use a few upgrades, however, the server and food was excellent
