Best European Restaurants in Penicuik

Great service, food and overall vibe at Le Bistrot. We were lucky to get a reservation while in Edinburgh during a very busy weekend. We loved the experience, thank you!

I had such a great experience! Got the gluten free French toast. It was incredibly good and I had no reaction.

Our second visit to this excellent restaurant and, like our first, we very much enjoyed it. The ambiance is lovely, the service first class and the food is to die for! Lots of Scottish produce on the menu, the cooking and presentation of which is first class. A short but varied wine list and an interesting cocktails list too. Prices are very good for the quality of the experience; not cheap but much less than we’ve paid for similar dishes in more high profile restaurants in town. All in all, we were very happy with our meal, would recommend No11 without hesitation and we will return very soon.

Lovely restaurant, delicious food and wine and excellent service. Deserves to be a lot busier than it was and has a fantastic fixed price/pre-theatre menu option. Will return.
