Best European Restaurants in South Street

The food and service at Buca D'Oro are always excellent and the ambience is cozy and friendly.

The servers are always so calm and relaxed while also wholly knowledgeable about everything on their menu. The food is always delicious and well prepared. The wines are wonderful and the cocktails excellent and unique. The pistachio ricotta cheese cake was outstanding! This is really one of my favorite places in the area. Excellent, as always.

Anthony is over the top with amazing dishes. The seasonal specialties. The pear salad was delicious.

Atmosphere was very nice. It has a nice outdoor space for when it gets warmer. We had a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meals. It is a small restaurant so reservations are needed on busy days. Two of us had the Berry salad one with chicken on top the other with shrimp. It was loaded with fresh berries and the dressing was quite nice. The only complaint I had was that there were only 3 regular sized shrimp on the salad for an additional charge of $9. The shrimp were grilled beautifully and had great flavor but I feel for $9 there should have been a couple of more on the salad. Someone had the French Onion soup which they loved. The ambience and service were great.

What a delightful restaurant! It was our first time dining there. Dining room is lovely and there's an outdoor patio! Food, service, ambiance all excellent. We'll be back.
