    Lovely restaurant, elevated and delicious food and an exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable staff. My friend and I were on a weekend trip to wine country and were thrilled to end a long tasting day here. The people were so nice, the place was cozy and upscale too but the food was truly outstanding. Unique offerings (never knew I'd love pigs head croquettes) with a nice presentation--great for date night too!

    I chose Hayward in Carlton for a birthday dinner, and it was an unforgettable experience. What makes this restaurant so special is how it evolves with the seasons. Right now, as spring melts into summer, we got to enjoy the first cucumbers of the season, along with dishes that just keep me coming back. Somehow, the focaccia gets even better every time I have it! A few standouts included a blue corn tostada ceviche and a dish that left us talking long after. Hayward is truly a destination, and each visit feels like a new chapter.

    The food was incredible, and the ambience and atmosphere even better. We enjoyed everything, especially the delicious beet salad and the tender lamb. Had a really fun time getting to know Tina, and the service was exceptional. I had a very special birthday and will be back.
