The Fireside was a wonderful evening getaway for our family. From the service to the ambiance & warm comfy atmosphere to our delicious meals! Its really a wonderful Portland gem! The brussel sprouts are to die for!

★★★★★ An outstanding meal from start to finish. The service was exceptional, the Bloody Mary martini was fantastic, and the house made pasta was a standout. What makes Hayward particularly special is how beautifully it captures this time of year. The fall ingredients, seasonal flavors, and thoughtful preparation make the meal feel genuinely connected to the Willamette Valley and everything this region has to offer. There’s a creativity and sense of place here that you don’t find just anywhere. A really special restaurant, and an easy five stars.

This place was great. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. They gave us a wrong cocktail and the waiter didn’t charge for it and gave us what we ordered. The desert cake was not my favorite. I would highly recommend.

Date night at Okta was wonderful! The service was top notch - very attentive, friendly, and informative. The squash soup and shrimp dish were my favorites. My husband loved the lemon sorbet. Romantic ambiance and beautifully designed. Highly recommend!
