Recette has such a great atmosphere—warm, lively, and just the right balance between relaxed and upscale. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable but still feel like you’re somewhere special. The cocktails were exceptional, all perfectly balanced and thoughtfully crafted. The bartender Osman really made the experience stand out, super knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly passionate. Sitting at the bar felt like part of the whole vibe, not just a side option

The food was excellent. I had the classic Eggs Benedict, and I have NEVER had so much Canadian bacon (that actually seemed like "bacon") on a large and soft English muffin, and the Hollandaise sauce was excellent, on the tart side how I love it. The eggs were poached perfectly, the home fries were flavorful, and the little salad had a lovely home-made dressing. I must mention that the bread (probably pain Batarde) was the best I have had in NY. Also must mention that the Bellini I had was not weak and was a delicious accompaniment. I went to Le Jardin for the first time on a Groupon, but shall be going back without one.
