Best Fusion Restaurants in Serra Mesa

Everything was amazing! The service and the food were outstanding. From time we entered to the time we exited we were welcomed. Best restaurant I have been to in San Diego hands down.

I chose Coral for my birthday dinner because of the location, weekday live music and menu and it was perfection! Great ambiance, guitarist, waiter and other guests. Highly reccomend the spicy mango mezcalrita, wedge salad, ahi poke and steak frittes. Summer sunset and beach walk after made the experience complete.

This restaurant, dare I say experience, was everything i had hoped for and more from the minute we walked through the door. You are met with dim lighting and the feeling that you are on another planet in a star ship. The walls, the light fixtures, the music, the servers...all great. And while I might have expected it somewhat the entire table was blown away by the tastiness of the food. We ordered one of each on the menu to try it all and nothing disappointed. Our fav - the rice cake, the tofu, the sandwiches (they are spicy btw), and the potatoes. Each of us had a different drink and wow...so good. Bravo from the only vegetarian at the table! Thanks for giving my leadership team of all carnivores a really great meal and time.

Flora has officially become one of my favorite brunch spots in San Diego. My team brought me here for my birthday last week because they all swore by it, and now I completely understand why. I had the steak and eggs, and it was honestly one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten. It was so good that when I brought my husband back the very next week, I ordered the exact same thing again without hesitation. My husband ordered the chilaquiles, and they absolutely lived up to the hype. He said they were some of the best he’s ever had in his life. The food alone is enough to keep us coming back, but the service made the experience even better. Our server both visits was Nino, and he was an absolute treasure. Friendly, attentive, genuine, and the kind of person who makes you feel like a regular from the moment you sit down. Great service can elevate a meal, and Nino absolutely did that. If you’re looking for an incredible brunch in North Park, Flora is a must. Amazing food, wonderful people, and an experience that has already earned repeat visits from us. We’ll definitely be back.

Our server, Jagger, was so nice and helpful! I also appreciated the beer cans that remained from what the location used to be. A nice nod to the past for those of us that remember!
