Best Gastro Pubs in Block Island

We had a great experience at Cask & Pig in Dartmouth overall. We started with the extra large order of chicken tenders, and they were a great choice — plenty of food to share and cooked perfectly. I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, which had a great kick and a lot of flavor, while she got the regular chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. The food came out fresh, the portions were good, and everything was made well. We sat outside, and the only downside was the music volume. The bass was way too loud, and I could barely hear the person sitting at my table talking. The person singing sounded good, but the volume didn’t need to be that high — it would be much better if the music was turned down a little so people can still enjoy the atmosphere while having a conversation. Overall, we enjoyed the food and would come back again, but lowering the music volume would make the outdoor dining experience much better.

We had a wonderful dinner and will definitely be back! I started with the **Zero Punch mocktail**, which was refreshing and delicious. We shared the **Hot Honey Chicken Quesadilla** as an appetizer, and it was absolutely incredible—I could honestly order it as my entire meal next time! For my entrée, I had the **house salad with grilled chicken**, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My husband ordered the **fish and chips**, and he said they were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. The service really made the experience even better. Our server was so sweet, attentive, and genuinely personable, making us feel welcome from start to finish. Great food, excellent service, and an all-around fantastic dining experience. We can't wait to come back!

The food is consistent, delicious, and generously portioned, especially for the price point, which is rare in the Hamptons. The service and staff are friendly and competent. The pace is not rushed. One of my favorite places to eat out east.

Bacon wrapped dates were great!! Get the rolls too!! Very different! Everything was good the short rib though had a tad bit of a spice that didn't agree with me. Service was absolutely excellent!!

The food and service was good. My Bacon, Bourbon & Blue burger and Caesar Salad were delicious as were the margaritas we all had. The Crispy Brussels were not nearly as good as before. We were told they had changed the recipe. We ate on the patio which is lovely but we were disappointed the fireplaces were not working as it got chilly once the cloud cover increased. We hope they are fixed by our next visit.
