The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59. The Royal as it was known has served the community and travellers alike. To the rear of the building in our historic Cobbled Garden you will find our own brewery housed in the stables which were used for the horses and stage coaches as they passed through the village. From Ales to YPA’s, to Blonde beers we are a small producer using primary English hops brewing exclusively in house for The Hop Vine and our sister pub the Legh Arms.Our countryside sister the Legh Arms is our latest addition to the family and is situated in the pretty hamlet of Mere Brow. Here we serve our trademark delicious home produced quality food and excellent home brewed ales.     Had a gorgeous Sunday lunch, exceptionally good, great value, great service! The carrot and Swede puree was so good I asked the chef how he makes it! All homemade. Sticky toffee pudding was to die for. Nice ambience in restaurant. Will be returning.

    Had a lovely meal and bottle of red wine I had halloumi burger came with coleslaw and fries My partner had steak which he said was perfect Staff (Robyn) was attentive and polite Come here now and again always enjoy the meals

    went on my own for a sunday roast,had the trio roast with a side of cauliflower cheese and it was all beautiful and well presented and enough gravy to sink a small ship at my request ;) thank you,staff where lovely too,my friend joined me half way through and ordered a kids chicken strip and chips which was lovely but maybe more variety on the menu for those who don't love a roast like me 🥰 didn't get any pics as i was to busy enjoying 😂👍🏾
