My guests and I loved our meal and they knew we were going to the opening of the Seattle film festival and made sure we finished our dinner in time.More infoThe Carlile Room$$$$• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.6
- VValerieLas Vegas •21 reviews4.0Dined on Apr 27, 2026I chose Rider as part of Seattle Restaurant Week April 2026, and because it is part of the Theodore Hotel, where my wife and I spent our wedding night (back then, known as the Roosevelt), so #memories. The manager Abi came over to greet me as I was taking photos, and she also checked in with us a couple times during our dining. She was very welcoming and positive, and clearly committed to ensuring we had a great experience. Our server Matthew was also very accommodating, doing some double checking on ingredients to ensure my wife's restrictions could be met. We opted for the pork belly; initially they'd told us they'd ran out due to its popularity for Restaurant Week but were able to secure additional servings. It did not disappoint, as the portions were substantial (I've seen a lot of restaurants 'scale down' for the Restaurant Week menu, and delighted Rider didn't do this). Wife enjoyed the endive salad appetizer, and I the chowder--hearty but not over-filling, and not overly salty like some can be. Dessert was just the right size to cap off our meal, flourless chocolate cake and sorbet. A great overall ambience and lively yet subdued mood. Would definitely give strong consideration to returning.More infoRider$$$$• Grill• Downtown•4.2
