Best Halal Restaurants in East Harlem

We got there at 3:30 PM so it was very quiet. It’s considered a late lunch or early dinner time. We were the only ones there and we got individualized detention from our waiter who was really great. The drinks the appetizers and our entrées were all amazing. No one had any complaints if I am ever in the area again I will definitely come back. We were at the Bronx zoo and this was a nice treat to have a Halal steak dinner after all the walking at the zoo. 

First time at this restaurant and it was superb!! Our waitress Maria was so attentive and helpful with recommendations. Food was delicious and we loved everything she recommended. We had mocktails that were so yummy! Loved the experience beginning to end and would highly recommend!

We had a pleasant dinner experience at Turkuaz. Service was attentive and helpful. Food was delicious and plentiful. Location was convenient and easy to walk from most points in midtown.

IF I could give the restaurant more than 5 stars I would. We were greeted and seated immediately. Upon ordering a Kingfisher beer the owner suggested I try their house beer which was delicious. He also suggested a special cauliflower app which was amazing. Nice crunch and spicy delicious red sauce. WE enjoyed this so much that we asked him to recommend other dishes. He did and we shared Rogen Josh , spicy special house chicken and rice and garlic naan . FIlled we thanked him for a delicious dinner. It is lovely to see some excited by the food they serve and proud to make recommendations ! 5 star all the way! Reasonable also.
