Another excellent meal at Lotus, loved the food, the restaurant is quiet enough to hold a conversation and service is always excellent

This is one funky restuarant run by energetic and adorable people with fantastic ambience. Im not sure there is anything like it in the whole region. the food is Nepalise based with a major heritage coming through via the proprietor as well as the chefs and staff. Great beer selection and local wines from Sapling Yard, a local grower and producer as a feature. The atmosphere really suits me - funky, country, earth building, quiet, not over crowded, happy people having an enjoyable drink and meal. Now to the food. Bloody hell this is good. Four of us shared the plates - every one of them made on the premises, with great nibbles and i personally love the KFC - Kathmandu Fried Chicken. I was cautious of it being too spicy but it was perfect - enough "tang" to excite but still enjoy. By the end of our meal we were busting for an icecream and what a hoot - icecream cones all round. I cant say enough how much i love this place in beautiful Braidwood. Hearts everyone
