Tamarind is our favorite Indian restaurant in London. The food is excellent, as is the service. This time, we ate on the upstairs patio, with an automatic sliding fabric roof that can be closed in inclement weather. Whether dining in the more formal (but updated modern) dining room or on the charming upstairs patio, the food quality at Tamarind is excellent .

Well worth the journey, took my husband there for lunch on his birthday, he had seen Asma Khan on TV and he has her books, of which he has replicated a few of her recipes. He wasn't disappointed.... Food was delicious, staff were exceptional, very knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu, the Chai Masala Tea was the best that I have tasted Would definitely go back.
