Best Indian Restaurants in Huntingdon Valley

Absolutely the best Indian food we’ve had in Philadelphia. We had the vegetable fritters along with two curries: goat and lamb. Everything was fantastic and the naan and basmati rice nicely done. Highly recommend.

Veda is one of our favorite Indian restaurants. The chaat is delicious and the portion generous enough to share. We usually order Kashmiri naan, but last night we ordered the plain naan that worked well to soak up the different sauces. Each of us ordered an entree and there is enough left over for another meal. For a Friday night, it was relatively quiet, and we could have walked in without reservations, but I’m glad we had them—I didn’t want to have to resort to a plan B.

Palace of India is one of our favorite Indian food restaurants. First, the food is always delicious--it's use of spices is superb. But it's also a wonderfully low-key place, just right for a pleasant evening out for my wife and me, where we can really focus on each other. Last, the prices are quite reasonable. I plan on coming back many, many, more times.
