We had a 6:30 reservation. Arrived early to have drinks at Stillwell’s (7th floor steakhouse), then up to Leonie’s (20th floor. We were seated immediately. The hotel is odd in the fact that you cant access the restaurants via the elevator unless the concierge gives you access. I understand not wanting random people getting access to hotel floors, but they need to make it easy to access the public restaurants on the 7th and 20th floor. The service was amazing (Amanda was our server). She was very friendly, fun, and welcoming without being intrusive. Cocktails were brought out quickly, and we ordered a bottle of wine. Their wine list runs deep. Lots of varietals from all over the world. We had a couple of appetizers (meatballs and the Hot Honey and Fennell Ricatta) that were amazing. She brought out rosemary bread that was warm….and devoured quickly. Ladies had a salad for their meal and the guys both had lasagna…..Wow. The presentation was beautiful and was only usurped by the tasty goodness of the lasagna itself. For dessert, we had the lemon desert (cant remember the specific name), but it was tart/sweet and didnt last long on the table….even though the ladies indicated they didnt want dessert. Overall….a great experience. We will definitely be back. Only drawbacks are the fact that the room is more like a sun room, it caused the noise level to be a bit elevated. Once we got to the 20th floor, there was not really clear signage as to where to go. Once you step out of the elevator bank, you see that you’re at the pool (which is beautiful), but it makes you wonder if you’re in the right spot or not.

What a great experience eating at Toussaint followed by Il Divo at the Majestic. It was a perfect night! If you are going to the Majestic, I strongly suggest eating at Toussaint! Ask for Alyssa. Try the risotto or the ribeye!
