Very nice experience overall. Waitstaff is attentive, atmosphere is lovely, charming music, great price and the food was amazing. Only suggestion is the restaurant could be warmer in temperature and the wine selection could be slightly improved upon.

Our experience at this restaurant was very good. It’s a lovely space nicely decorated. The bread they brought to the table with the olive oil dip was delicious and when our meal arrived, it was phenomenal. We ordered the salmon and both my husband and I ate every last bite. We were very tempted by coffee and dessert, but we were so full. We decided not to add that to our dinner. I only wish that we live closer to this restaurant so that we could visit on a regular basis.

Since opening a year ago, we have probably been to Romans no fewer than 20 times and have never been disappointed. The service, food and ambience who’s outstanding. The Wednesday raw bar in the summer has the best raw clams and oysters I’ve ever had.

At first we weren’t sure about the restaurant as our reservation was for 5 pm but the front doors were locked. My husband wanted to leave but I said let me call and the young lady who answered said I’ll be right there to open them. So after getting in and taken to our table which was lovely and the atmosphere was great. Our waitress Shelly was wonderful from the start of the meal till the end. The food was very good except that the steak was a bit overcooked and had bites of grizzle, flavor was good. Anyway overall a positive dining experience!

Hostess wasn’t aware you could make OpenTable reservations. We were seated promptly and placed drink and app order. Drinks and bread arrived shortly afterwards. They offer a daily early bird special(as of 9/26) from 3-5:30 daily. Consists of drinks - sodas, tea/coffee; soup or salad and choice of 6 entrees from 2 different price structures. Also included is a bowl of chocolate or vanilla ice cream or mini cannoli. Ordered the deluxe app - Buratta with fresh tomatoes, onions and fresh basil. Soup we picked: minestrone and Chickarina; entrees: Fettuccine Alfredo and grilled Alpine chicken. Dessert was the cannolis. Great value, food was tasty and service was excellent. Adding to our restaurants when we are in the Utica area.
